Lisa Yoga Studio Brand Identity
I had the amazing opportunity to design the brand identity and logo for Lisa Yoga Studio in South Korea. This project was an exciting opportunity to create a visual identity that resonates with yoga enthusiasts while aligning with the studio’s vision. Beyond the studio, Lisa Yoga is set to launch a range of yoga goods and a clothing line. My goal was to design an identity that not only connects with the target audience but also reflects the studio's vibrant and welcoming spirit.

From Vision to Versatility
To fully grasp the client’s goals and needs, I had design consultations to lead the client along the most suitable path., and here’s the outcome of that collaborative process.
Challenges
The client's vision for Lisa Yoga Studio was crystal clear, with a well-defined target audience and a set interior design already in place. They also had exciting plans to launch a yoga clothing line. With all these elements in mind, I took on the challenge of creating a logo and brand identity that would shine across various aspects of the studio and its new apparel line. It was all about blending their existing style with a fresh, vibrant look that truly resonates with their community.
The strategy
To tackle this project, I started by diving deep into the client’s vision and goals. I made sure to understand their target audience and the aesthetics they wanted for Lisa Yoga Studio. With the studio’s interior design plan already set, I aimed to create a brand identity that would seamlessly complement and enhance that environment. Knowing that a new yoga clothing line was in the works, I designed the logo and visual elements to be versatile and engaging, ensuring they would look great on both digital and physical products. The goal was to craft a cohesive identity that felt authentic to the studio and appealing to their community.
Logo Design
For me, the key to successful client work is all about communication and research. I like to start by diving into research and creating guidelines, such as mood boards and storytelling elements, to lay a strong foundation. This helps me ensure that I’m fully aligned with the client’s vision before diving into the actual design work.
For the sketch phase, the client wanted a unique shape inspired by yoga poses. I kicked things off with some design research and created a mood board. By blending the shapes of flowers, leaves, and stones with yoga poses, I crafted a design that reflects both nature and the spirit of yoga.
Reflection & learnings
Maintain a flexible mindset.
Working with clients can be a dynamic experience, with changes often coming up along the way. I’ve learned that staying open-minded and flexible throughout the process is key to navigating these changes smoothly and delivering great results.
Communicate constantly.
Effective client communication is all about speaking their language and making sure everything is clear and understandable. My approach involves asking specific questions tailored to each business or agency, which helps clarify the project’s concept and ensures we're on the same page.
One of the most fruitful parts of this project has been learning about the ways communicate with the client and putting purpose on design. Moving forward, I want to explore will continue to evolve my design.
